Response to Irfan post on Lying

I totally agree with what Irfan has stated in his post on lying. Irfan highlights the fact that lying is bad and that It is not a nice characteristic to have. He also states that it is permissible to lie for certain cases and gives a wonderful example he states that it is permissible to lie when the truth may cause more harm than if one was to tell a lie.
